Hilton Head Plantation Resort-Style Amenities
Plantation residents enjoy a spectacular range of amenities. Golfers have four championship 18-hole courses within the community (Bear Creek, Dolphin Head, Oyster Reef and the Country Club of Hilton Head). Private beach lovers enjoy a private shoreline along the Port Royal Sound in Dolphin Head Park.
- Clubhouses & Community Centers: Three Plantation clubhouses (Dolphin Head Park, Plantation House in Spring Lake, and Spring Lake Pavilion) feature gathering rooms, game rooms, kitchens and outdoor patios for events and classes. - Pools & Fitness: A resort-style zero-entry pool with lazy river and splash pad anchors Spring Lake Recreation Area. Multiple outdoor pools and an indoor lap pool are available. There’s a full gym and fitness studios, and an active schedule of classes (yoga, Pilates, Zumba, etc.) so residents can easily stay fit in the clubs.

Two protected nature preserves on the property safeguard wildlife habitat, and it’s common to see bald eagles, ospreys or Blue Herons. You might even dolphins playing in the sound while strolling the beach and if you are really lucky you might see dolphins strand feeding in the in the creeks at low tide (this can only be seen in a few places in the world – the SC Lowcountry and Queensland, Australia are two such places).
