I've lived in the SC Lowcountry since December 1996, and Ashton Cove is one of those Hilton Head communities that a lot of buyers drive past without realizing it's there. It's quiet, it's gated, and you can reach the beach, Coligny, or Sea Pines Circle in a short drive, without paying for a golf membership or a full amenity package you may never use. To me it feels like a regular neighborhood, just with a gate and a few extra amenities. For a buyer who wants privacy and a short drive to the beach more than they want a clubhouse, it's worth a look.
What Buyers Should Know Before Choosing Ashton Cove
Ashton Cove is a single street, so the community does not have the walking trails, multiple entrances, or larger open spaces found in bigger plantations. Buyers who want on-site golf, a clubhouse, or a marina will not find those amenities here.
